Travelocity and MasterCard have teamed up to offer cruise fans some added travel values. Choose from 10 difference cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Princess, Crystal, Holland America, Regent and Carnival. It doesn’t matter if you like to spa, shop or gamble while you’re on board—MasterCard has stateroom upgrades and on board credit waiting for you. Now to decide, where do you want to go?
Deals: Travelocity’s big August cruise sale only gets better with the added on board credit. As an example, if you use your MasterCard for a 3-day Royal Caribbean Baja Cruise from Los Angeles (starting at $189) you’ll also receive $100 in on board credit that you can use towards the spa or shore excursions on a sail date in December or three dates in February. The Travelocity chart of ship lines and cruise destinations is easy to navigate and there is an assortment of choices. Have fun browsing, dreaming and booking your cruise.
Why Go: If you’re already planning on taking a cruise this year or in early spring, and just happen to have a MasterCard you can use, it makes perfect sense to get added value for a trip you’re already going to take.
Why Not: If you have a different credit card that you use to accumulate frequent flier miles, it might be more important for your long term travel plans to use that card than to get a little onboard credit for this immediate trip.
When: Pay with a MasterCard by Aug. 31 and sail between Oct. 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008
