Cruise travel: Orbitz offers free iPods for bookings

Orbitz is offering a free iPod, spa treatments, onboard credit and other discounts for travelers who take part in their “Catch the Wave Cruise Event.”

Deal: Get a free iPod Shuffle when you book a seven-night cruise with an ocean-view or balcony stateroom. Book a suite on a seven-night or longer cruise and get an iPod Nano. There are a variety of discounts and bonus amenities when you book through Orbitz on many of your favorite cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Holland America, Disney, Crystal, Carnival and more. Not all the cruise offers require seven nights’ stay, you can get free spa treatments for booking a five-night cruise. And still other cruises start at $199 (pre-tax).


Tip: There’s a three-night Baja cruise with Carnival that leaves from Long Beach starting at $299 (pre-tax based on double occupancy), including a three-category upgrade from Orbitz, if you sail Feb. 1-4, 2008.

When: Book by Jan. 28 for travel between Feb. 1 and Dec. 31, 2008
