Universal Studios Hollywood has begun public technical rehearsals of “The Creature From the Black Lagoon — A Raging Rockin’ Show” in advance of an official debut on July 1.
“Creature” blends a Broadway-style musical with a romantic-comedy-adventure elements that promises to be unlike any other theme park experience.

Saw the preview and LOVED it! A satiric, twisted romance with amazing special effects. Crackling with dark humor, it offers several fatalist morals that will get your mental gears turning, but not TOO hard. High praise for an amusement park attraction that runs roughly half an hour long. If you can picture Creature the Musical as a kind of illegitimate midget lovechild between Little Shop and Rocky Horror, then you realize what you’re getting yourself into.
