Costa Mesa hotels jump-start the season

Concert HallHit the beach, concert hall or the mall with a spring and summer hotel deal in Costa Mesa, where nine of the city’s hotels are offering rates as low as $99 a night. The bonus: Visitors get back $60 or more to defray dining and travel expenses.

The deal: Stay in Costa Mesa at a participating hotel and receive a $30 reimbursement on airfare or gasoline purchase. Hotel guests also receive a dining certificate for $30 each night of their stay, redeemable at several Costa Mesa restaurants.

Good until: The 2007 Fly/Drive & Dine promotion runs through Sept. 30 and is based on room availability. No minimum stays are required.
