Contest: The best restaurant in America?

Best Table To Poach A Client Or Dine With A Mistress: (Stefano Paltera / For The Times)Good morning America Weekend is on a quest for food. They are searching America for both the best bites in our country and the best restaurant. So far they’ve traveled from Pittsburgh to Seattle sampling wild mountain blackberry cobbler in the Cascades, hand made tortillas in Phoenix, and a super cheesy Squeezeburger in Sacramento.

Their foodie road trip proves that the soul of the place and the townspeople have every bit to do with the picks of their best bites. So, go ahead tell them about your favorite restaurant.

Deal: You can win a trip for 2 to New York City. Send in your local restaurant news to Good Morning America with video, stories and pictures. I couldn’t find details about the prize on the Good Morning America website, but I did hear about it while watching their feature on TV. Here is the page where you submit your best bite recommendations.

Presumably they went to PittsburgH, Pa, and not ,say Pittsburg, CA, or Pittsburg, KS.

Thanks for the correction J-Man! Indeed it was Pittsburgh. I’ve made the change.

If you are ever in Louisville, KY, you should go to the Brown Hotel and try the original “Hot Brown”. It was invented here by the chef and is a delicious mixture of turkey, cheese, etc. on toast.
