ChaCha: Get travel advice by text or phone

Will ChaCha put concierges in danger of losing their jobs or will hotel concierges use ChaCha to help guests when they’re stuck for an answer? I’ve been testing this new quick and easy travel advice service for travelers on the go, and it’s definitely hot.

There are three ways to use ChaCha:
1) go to their website, sign in for free and type in your travel question
2) text ChaCha (242 242) from your mobile phone
3) call ChaCha at (800) 2CHACHA (224-2242)

Here are some questions I asked and the answers they returned:

Q. Is there a big security line delay at LAX?
A. Currently the website does not list any security delays. Departing and arriving flights are experiencing 15-minute delays.

Q. Can you recommend a good sushi restaurant in Vegas
A. On the strip you have Ra Sushi Bar, Mizuno’s Japanese Steakhouse, Hyakumi, Mikado, Sushi Roku, Tao Restaurant, Sea Mountain.
Note: I’ve heard of a few of these restaurants but if I were recommending a sushi restaurant to Vegas visitors I’d suggest Nobu at the Hard Rock followed by Social House at Treasure Island (on the Strip). They didn’t even mention the new Koi at Planet Hollywood.

Q. What’s the weather like in NYC today
A. Fri. weather for NYC High 72 Low 52 Partly Cloudy Keep sending your questions to ChaCha.

Q. What do I need to dial to call the U.S. from Mexico?
A. In order to call the United States from Mexico, you would simply just dial: 00+1+Area Code+Telephone number. Hope this helps!
