Caribbean: Dominica wedding + honeymoon deal

GORP’s April newsletter turned me on to some fun adventure travel deals, from luxury Yosemite trips to climbing Kilimanjaro.

The romantic in me was quickly drawn to the Caribbean wedding-honeymoon deal marked down from $1,500 to $499. I had to check out the West Indies destination wedding that Modern Bridge Magazine listed in its Honeymoon Hot List (Feb./Mar. 2008).

Deal: You can have a dream wedding in the West Indies for only $499 when you purchase a seven-day “Jungle Spa Adventure Package.” Rates start at $209 per person, per night and include meals, airport transfers, hike and activities, half-hour spa treatments and yoga and meditation classes.

The “Escape Wedding Package” comes with an event coordinator, bridal bouquet, cake, photographer and more. Prices are pre-taxes and fees.

Caveat: Flights to Jungle Bay are not included in the packages, but they offer helpful information on how to get there on their website.
