Free London hotel nights when you fly with British Airways

British Airways is having an airfare sale to London and select cities in the UK.  Obviously their promotion leads with some pretty cheap round-trip fares out of New York, but they make it easy to search prices from other departure cities in the U.S. as well. The best part about the sale is that they’ll throw in a free night or two (if you’re traveling in tandem) with the purchase of your flight.

Deal: I found flights for two passengers between Los Angeles (LAX) and London Heathrow (LHR) Oct. 28 – Nov. 5 for $1,668 total with taxes and fees. This also included two free nights at a hotel (single travelers get one free night). Just be careful that if you only want to use the hotel for the two free nights, that you change the dates when you get to the hotel section of the process. I thought the 3-star Premier Inn Kensington looked good for my test. On the nights I chose to take the free hotel room, Monday – Wednesday, the hotel would normally charge $184 per night.

Note: The Premier Inn Kensington did not offer a free breakfast, but some of the other hotel options included either a continental or full breakfast.

When: Book by Oct. 2 for travel from Oct. 23 - Dec. 17, 2008 and Dec. 24,
2008 - Mar. 22, 2009.
