Are travel blogs too general? If all you would rather only read about hotels, then check out this list of my favorite hotel blogs. Some are serious, others have a great sense of humor, but all give you a different perspective on the hospitality world.

HotelChatter: I’m biased because I helped launch this blog, but still I find it to be one of the most entertaining travel blogs on the Net. From celebrity scoops to hospitality news and a whole lot of global hotel reviews and gossip.

BedJump: Pictures of everyday travelers jumping on their hotel beds. Good fun brought to you by the folks at Hotels by the City.

TripAdvisor: Called “We are not making this up,” the popular hotel review website blogs about the crazy (and sometimes rude) comments and reviews that they get from readers.

The Lobby: A shining example of how a big corporate hotel chain (Starwood) can connect with the public.

Hotel Blogs: The hotel world as Guillaume Thevenot sees it. Good resources —hoteliers could learn a thing or two about marketing from surfing this blog.
