What seems to be really generating buzz on our blog this week is the poll “Your vote: Best nude beach in California?” Do you have a favorite nude or topless beach? If you haven’t already, take a moment to vote; then chime in with your opinion. Now, in other news….

Airline news | It turns out we can’t escape them: Advertisers really are ensuring that their brands stay on our minds, even in the pre-boarding hours. See the Associate Press article “Finally, something free from the airlines: ads on your boarding pass.” Don’t be surprised if you see them before your next flight, if you check in from home.

Las Vegas nightlife | Billed as an “anti-club,” Wasted Space will open July 19, 2008, in Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Co-created by Carey Hart of Motocross fame, it’ll be all rock nightly. One signature drink will be the “Hart Attack” with Jagermeister and Red Bull included among its ingredients. This club is part of the Hard Rock’s $800-million renovation.

Web news | Popular travel search engine Mobissimo has launched a new online community, MobiFriends. Among the widget’s features: As you search for trips, you’ll be able to save and share the cheap fares you find with friends; if you add Twitter to your account, you can broadcast your finds that way as well.
