Not all hotels have them, but when I checked for Memorial Day weekend (May 22-26) and found “Buy 1 get 1 50% off” for Flatotel, the New York Helmsley, plus advance purchase rates or 30% off discounts at many other hotels.

Best part of the deal: The best way to take advantage of the deal is to book a hotel through this widget, no matter if it’s on sale or not. Once you do, you can then proceed to buy the attraction and show tix for “Buy One, Get 2nd 50% off.” Some of the venues listed in this deal include: The New York Pass, Empire State Building Observatory, Guggenheim Museum, Madame Tussauds, Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum, a three-hour full island cruise (by Circle Line Sightseeing) and such shows as “Chicago,” “Mary Poppins,” “August: Osage County,” “Phantom of the Opera” and “In the Heights.”
