Access info on the fly with a Portable Travel Profile USB drive

Instead of that sheaf of papers slopping around in your carry-on bag, you can create order by entering pertinent information on the Portable Travel Profile, a USB drive that's smaller and flatter than a Bic disposable lighter.

When plugged into your PC, it gives you password-protected access to forms on which you can enter medical (prescriptions, a scan of your EKG), personal (home address, fingerprints), legal (a scanned copy of your medical power of attorney, your wishes for organ donation) and travel information (names of hotels, rental car companies, airlines, confirmation numbers).

The software (including a mini-CD that can be burned) and drive come in a DVD-size case. $49.95 plus $5 shipping. Info: (877) 977-0389, www.portabletravelprofile.com.

Where am I?

Should we take offense, order a drink, or what? That depends, of course, on where you think these words turned up.
