Weird Al, Daughtry and the All-American Rejects are among acts at this year's fair, where concerts are free with admission. Besides livestock displays, nightly fireworks, a midway and other highlights, there's Toytopia, a toy-themed exhibit with interactive games for kids and displays such as a giant Lego bear.

When, where: Aug. 17 to Sept. 3, 2007, at the California Exposition, 1600 Exposition Blvd., Sacramento.

Admission: Advance tickets: $8, $5 kids ages 5 to 12, younger than 5 free. At the gate: $10 adults, $6 kids.
