Denice Bay of Palm Desert was touring Asia last summer when she came upon this scene at the ruins at Bagan, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma).
"We were waiting for the sun to set. I happened to notice a young man," she said. "He was so much in thought" sitting atop the pahto, or Buddhist temple, "I fell in love with the picture." Her husband, Rick, thought Bagan was similar to Angkor Wat in Cambodia although not as spectacular.
