JetBlue Airways to fly out of LAX to JFK & beyond

Eight years after its launch, JetBlue Airways will finally fly out of LAX. Starting May 21, 2008, the low-cost carrier, known for its leather seats and 36-channel seat-back TVs, will offer nonstop flights three times a day to New York's JFK airport and once a day to Boston from LAX.

The service is part of a Southern California expansion for JetBlue, which in May will add nonstops to San Jose, Seattle and Austin, Texas, from its Long Beach hub; and to Las Vegas and the Washington, D.C., area's Dulles airport from Burbank. www.jetblue.com.
