Felton's Roaring Camp Railroad's Ghost Train

By Amy Hubbard, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

As Felton's Roaring Camp Railroad's Ghost Train chugs along, scenes from "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" are acted out on stages along the route. Costumed actors play up the lighthearted humor -- Headless Horseman too -- to make this a family event. At the depot, there is a haunted house and games for the kids, plus a costume contest for ages 3 to 12.

When, where: Oct. 26 and 27, 2007; trains depart at 6, 6:15, 8 and 8:15 p.m. from Roaring Camp Railroad depot, at Graham Hill Road and Roaring Camp Road in Felton.

Cost: $25 per person. Parking is $6.

Info: (831) 335-4484, www.roaringcamp.com.
