San Diego Padres-themed baseball package deal

Take yourself out to the ballgame with a Padres-themed package from the Omni San Diego Hotel.

The deal: Travelers can choose among three Homerun Special packages. The general admission package includes accommodations, two upper-infield reserved tickets to a Padres game, access to Petco Park via the Omni sky bridge, valet parking and breakfast for two at McCormick & Schmick's. Packages start at $289 per room, per night. The field-box package adds upgraded seating with rates starting at $359 per room, per night. The junior-suite package adds a 520-square-foot suite; game seating is in a field box. Rates begin at $509 per room, per night.

The hotel: The Omni San Diego Hotel is across from the Convention Center and connected to Petco Park by a pedestrian bridge. Built in 2004, it has contemporary accommodations that feature bay, city or ballpark views.

Where is it? The hotel is in the historic Gaslamp Quarter at 675 L St. It is eight minutes from San Diego International Airport and 10 minutes from the Amtrak Station.

Where am I?
