Denver Art Museum goes futuristic with a new Libeskind wing

Explore the splashy new $110-million wing of the Denver Art Museum on a special package from the Hotel Teatro.

THE DEAL: Included in the $210-a-night package are overnight accommodations, two tickets to the museum, complimentary transportation and a hardcover art history book.

THE MUSEUM: The Frederic C. Hamilton building, designed by internationally known architect Daniel Libeskind, opened in the fall. It is 146,000 square feet and has added a futuristic silhouette to Denver's skyline. The wing houses many of the museum's temporary collections.

THE HOTEL: The Teatro is a AAA four-diamond hotel and was named to the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List. It is at 1100 14th St., across from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

DETAILS: The special is available through the end of the year. The $210 rate is limited to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; during the week, the rate increases to $230 a night.
