At Apple Annie's in Willcox, visitors to the annual fall fest can pick their own sweet corn, tomatoes, green beans, squash and other vegetables, then take a hayride to the 40 acres of pumpkins, where gourds in a variety of sizes grow. The nearby orchard has pick-your-own apples and pears. There will also be homemade ice cream and apple pie and burgers for sale.

When, where: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every weekend through October at 6405 W. Williams Road and 2081 W. Hardy Road.

Cost: Free admission; hayrides are $3 per person, 2 and younger, free.

Info: (520) 384-2084, www.appleannies.com.
