What's new: This 2,600-room Strip hotel on April 17, 2007 will be renamed Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and open a 1,565-seat showroom featuring the musical "Stomp Out Loud." A $200-million-plus makeover has also added a crystal-bedecked lobby, lounges, a poker room, a 24-hour coffee shop and more. Room renovations are ongoing. The style is "hip retro," a spokeswoman said.

Info: Aladdin Resort & Casino, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas, NV 89109; (877) 333-9474, www.planethollywoodresort.com. Rack rates from $159 a night midweek, $199 on the weekend.
