GymTicket.com helps you find gyms on the go

Traveling can take a toll on your workout routine, and not all hotel gyms are created equal. So how can you find a place to burn some calories if you're on the road? GymTicket.com.

What's hot: Type in an address, and the site will give you a list of gyms and health clubs (out of more than 20,000 gyms and health clubs, the site says), complete with address (including a Google map with locations), mileage from your location and dollar signs to show price range. You'll also learn about the gym's amenities. Many listings also offer free guest passes (though they may require a phone call from the gym).

What's not: The site's heavy on the chain gyms. Descriptions on some entries seem too promotional, and some entries have only bare essentials.

Where am I?

This is a city known for great old architecture. And it's a desert spot and has a long-standing tradition of hospitality.
