Search for special events at your destination with whatsonwhen.com

Part of the fun of traveling is joining in on celebrations and events at your destination, but how do you know what's going on before you go? Check out www.whatsonwhen.com.

What's hot: You can search for events, shows and festivals by nine categories, date, destination and keywords. The British-based website has travel guides, but I found the videos of festivals, such as the wife-carrying race in Finland, more entertaining.

What's not: It's not inclusive enough, so if you're headed to a big city, try www.timeout.com, which I found has better dining, shows and night life listings.

Where am I?

Should we take offense, order a drink, or what? That depends, of course, on where you think these words turned up.
