Dodging flight delays by the numbers with AvoidDelays.com

AvoidDelays.com makes it easy to plan flights based on statistics. The info comes from the National Air Traffic Controllers Assn.

What's hot: The top lists: Most delayed departure airports, worst times to fly into those top 10 most delayed airports and the most delayed flights and more. You'll find airport-specific tips to avoid delays.

What's not: The lists are not real-time but compiled from months-old stats. When I looked up delays for LAX at 4:30 p.m. Friday, the site sent me to the FAA, which posted the real-time info in Greenwich Mean Time. I then had to convert to Pacific Daylight Time.

Where am I?

Should we take offense, order a drink, or what? That depends, of course, on where you think these words turned up.
