Staying in Washington during the inauguration may not be as difficult -- or expensive -- as you may have thought. (In some cases you'll be sharing a room and sleeping on a sofa bed 2 1/2 miles from the National Mall; in others you'll have a private room and will be close to the Metro.) Even if you already have a place to stay, this site is loaded with travel info for those who just want to be there for Barack Obama's swearing in.
