Your Scene: Hiking Kauai s Na Pali Coast

It was an ideal day in Kauai, and David Wood of West Hollywood was simply trying to capture friends walking down the beach when he took this shot. "This was my third Na Pali Coast hike over the course of 20 years," Wood says. "The clouds were perfect, the sky was perfect, the water was perfect and even the spacing between my friends was perfect." The photo was taken about 10 a.m., with a Nikon D-80.
