Wyoming: Paradise Ranch perfect for families, riding

12:00 AM PST, January 14, 2007

"I wanted to let readers know about Paradise Ranch in Wyoming. The ranch specializes in riding and fly fishing. It is near Sheridan, just about 45 minutes outside the small town of Buffalo. The riding is amazing; the ranch is nestled in a beautiful valley surrounded by more than 1 million acres of the Big Horn National Forest. The ranch is perfect for families. Accommodations are beautiful and exceptionally comfortable."

Weekly rates from $1,200 per adult (includes meals and activities).

Utah: Great Mexican food

"AT a family member's suggestion, we tried the Red Iguana restaurant, which has won many awards. We were pleasantly surprised. The spicy Cochinita Pibil-shredded pork basted with achiote, served with a side of rice, beans and tortillas, was excellent. The restaurant maintains a diverse menu, including basics like tacos and enchiladas, plus the house-specialty mole."

Entrees start at about $12.
