GETTING THERE
The closest airport to Mackinac is in Pellston, Mich. From LAX, Northwest offers connecting service (change of planes). Restricted, roundtrip fares begin at $408.
Ferry service is available from May through October. Round-trip tickets cost $25 for adults and $12 for children ages 5 to 12.
