Best Western offers beach hotel bargains

A two-night stay means $50 gas and gift cards.

Hitting the beach in California? You can save now and later with a Best Western special that offers a $50 gas card for a late spring or summer visit and a $50 gift card good on a fall or winter visit.

The deal: To take advantage of the special, you must stay two nights between now and Labor Day. You'll receive a $50 gas card and a $50 gift card, which can be applied to a visit between Oct. 1 and Jan. 31. Most of the participating hotels include complimentary continental breakfast.

The hotels: Included are Best Western Half Moon Bay Lodge, starting at $149 a night; Best Western Fireside Inn, Cambria (pictured at left), starting at $179 a night; Best Western Sunrise Hotel, Redondo Beach, starting at $169 a night; and Best Western Lighthouse Hotel, Pacifica, starting at $139 a night.
