Splash down at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa
Dive into Splashtopia, the new water complex at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, where summer midweek rates start at $99 a night. The hotel is in Rancho Mirage, east of Palm Springs.
Details: The rate is available from Sunday through Thursday at the hotel and does not include taxes or a $20 daily resort fee. Weekend rates start at $149 per night. Rancho Las Palmas, which underwent a $35-million renovation, recently added Splashtopia, a 2-acre water playground, and Kidtopia, a new kids' club (admission: $45 to $75). The water park (free to resort guests) has two 100-foot water slides, a 425-foot lazy river and a cliffside Jacuzzi.
