The hotel: Zephyr Cove Resort and Marina is on the south shore of Lake Tahoe four miles from Stateline, Nev. The cove has been a historic recreational destination for more than a century.
Details: Zephyr Cove has one of the largest snowmobile tour centers in the U.S. and has a fleet of more than 150 sleds. The Lakeview Tour takes place at 9:30 a.m. and offers views of Lake Tahoe from more 9,000 feet above the lake. Availability is limited on some dates, and all tours are subject to change because of hazardous weather conditions.
