Ultimate Boarder

Highlights: Contest's first outing, billed as only one of its kind in the U.S. Triple-sport competition includes snowboarding at Squaw Valley, surfing in Ventura and skateboarding at the fairgrounds; pits pros alongside amateurs; top prize $30,000.
